Changes to how you update your quotes

What's new? 


We’ve added an “Update quote” button in the Quote view and Message feed so you can edit and update single aspects of your quote, rather than having to create a whole new quote each time. 


Headaches from having to figure out small pricing changes, increased/reduced portions or anything else are a thing of the past. This also means that the quote page should remain a consistently updated source of truth, meaning both you and the customer can easily refer back to what was agreed in one place. 



Why have we changed it? 


To update your quote previously, you would have to send a whole new quote and re-send all the critical information each time a small change was required. We made this change because we are trying to make quoting easier and a more efficient experience, and we understand that as you negotiate with customers to get a deal over the line, you need the ability to confidently change small or large aspects of the quote in real time. 


What do I need to do?  


Nothing! Simply look out for the new “Update Quote” button in messaging and in the quote view.
