Introduction to the new quoting experience

At the end of 2023, we set out to understand what types of quote convert the bestAs part of this research, we uncovered a treasure trove of data-led insights and now have a new understanding of what makes a “good” quote. 


Our mission in 2024 is to use this to revolutionise the way suppliers quote on Togather by harnessing these learnings and making the platform easier to use. 


It’s not just about speed…

Historically, our suppliers have been very quick to quote, with customers typically receiving 5+ quotes within 24 hours. Whilst speed undoubtedly helps, we found that presentation, clarity and formatting have a huge impact. 



So, what are we doing about it? 


We’re making lots of product changes to tap into this potential and help improve your booking rate on Togather, including:


  • New Quote view (Line item quoting & Additional costs)

  • New Item library 

  • New commission structure & price calculator

  • New Quote Message format 

  • Changes to how you use templates

  • Changes to how you update your quotes


What do you need to do? 


Go to your new "My Service" in the "Tools" section of your dashboard. You can now build quotes in half the time by searching for items from your item library and adding them to the quote. The new quote form requires you to break down your quotes into items, giving customers a more detailed and visual quote. This library is where you can build out your entire catalogue so you don’t have to create new items every time you quote.
