Togather's off-platform policy

Modified on Tue, 02 Jan 2024 at 12:25 PM

By joining as a supplier, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions, including our Partner terms which we have the right to enforce at our entire discretion. A core part of our partner terms is keeping all communication and bookings on platform, and we take any attempts to go off platform or disintermediate very seriously. In the event of any violations, either singular, repeated or serious violations, we withhold the right to suspend or permanently remove any supplier from our database.

In order to protect our business, customers and other supplier partners, the following behaviours are prohibited:

Taking people off the platform for bookings

  • Asking, encouraging or directing customers to move a booking off the Togather platform

  • Cancelling an existing booking and having customers rebook off the Togather platform

  • Asking or encouraging customers to book outside of Togather for repeat or future bookings

Publicly sharing private contact information

  • Asking customers to provide personal contact information prior to the booking being confirmed - this includes soliciting customers for email addresses, phone numbers or other communication methods

  • Providing private contact details or 3rd party links on any publicly visible area of the site including profiles, quotes, messages and attachments. This includes but is not limited to personal or business websites, Instagram, Facebook, personal emails, phone numbers; All communication must stay on Togather until a booking has been confirmed

Soliciting direct payment or alternative payment methods

  • Requesting or soliciting direct payment from customers for the full or partial booking value

  • Requesting or soliciting alternative payment methods to Togather. This includes requesting direct deposits from customers to secure the booking, discounts for booking off platform, or other financial arrangements that encourage the customer to go off-platform

  • Providing personal bank details or financial information; All payments for bookings should be made via the Togather platform to protect the safety and security of all parties involved

  • Quoting inappropriately low value to secure a booking on platform, to then charge additional fees or seek full payment of true booking value off platform

Soliciting customers for future business at Togather Live events

  • Approaching or soliciting customers at Togather Live events for future business; (eg. soliciting an event organiser for future/additional work at a Live event such as a festival that Togather manages)

  • Creating commercial or other agreements at Togather events that would circumvent or impact agreements made between Togather and the event organiser

Exceptions

Once a booking is confirmed, you may ask a customer for their contact details or provide your own contact details to organise any logistics or finalise specific requirements for the event (eg. you request the customers mobile number in the event of any emergencies on the day of the event, or you are required to provide your email address to gain access to an office building or vetting process).
